Shammy Raj, PhD; Specialist – Bio-polymers
Shammy hold 10+ years of hands-on experience in biomedical research, with expertise in material design, synthesis and characterization for tissue engineering, drug delivery and targeted therapies. Shammy is proficient in characterization techniques including liquid chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometry (MS), nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), dynamic light scattering (DLS), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). He also holds significant experience in in vitro material characterization like toxicity and functionality studies.
Shammy received his B.Tech in biotechnology from NIT Rourkela, India and completed his PhD from University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. He has published +10 peer reviewed scientific papers. He serves as a consultant on the team.
Bhushan Kadu; Project Manager
Bhushan Kadu is a skilled professional with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Polymer Chemistry from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune University, India. Fluent in four global languages, Bhushan currently serves as a project coordinator at MatterX Compliance.
His previous experience includes working as a Healthcare Management Consultant at Concept Healthcare Solutions Private Limited, where he worked on BLE tracking beacon devices. He also handled equipment setup projects, implemented safety protocols, addressed equipment issues, and ensured user health and safety. Additionally, Bhushan worked as a Fleet Management Consultant at InnoVita Technologies, where he contributed to the research and development of electronic and IoT-based products such as Vehicle tracking Devices, Remote starters, GSM solutions, and BLE Tracking. He was responsible for product design, software solution ideation, staff hiring, accounting, sales and marketing, customer acquisition, and project management. Bhushan has also engaged in volunteer work, including forest tree planting in Canada, providing patient care for a patient with neurodegenerative condition, and participating in a coastal cleaning campaign with Sea Shepherd Australia.
Shubham Jain, PhD; Specialist – Bio-polymer and 3-D printing
Dr. Shubham Jain holds 10+ years of hands-on experience in biomaterial and tissue engineering research and specializes in developing polymeric 3D scaffolds from a variety of biomaterials and characterizing their physio-chemical and mechanical properties using state-of-art methods. Shubham is an expert in 3D printing (direct melt-extrusion and filament-based), 3D bioprinting (bioinks and cells), and electrospinning. Shubham is also proficient in vitro 3D cell culture and developing models for a variety of tissue engineering applications. Dr. Jain received his B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Biotechnology & Bioinformatics from the University of Rajasthan, India. He has completed his Ph.D. from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden in the field of Fibre and Polymer technology. He has published 15+ peer-reviewed scientific articles. He serves as a consultant on the team.
Prof. Prasanna Mural, PhD; Specialist – Polymer composites
Dr. Prasanna Kumar S Mural (Ph.D. Polymer composites and blends) is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay Powai, Mumbai-400076, India which is a globally renowned university for polymer and composites. Presently, his research involves development of polymer composites for numerous commercial applications and performance evaluation of these composites. In similar field, he has published a book chapter and over 30 research articles, and is well known in the global polymer community for his research contributions. He also has a great experience working in international research labs. He has developed a state of the art polymer testing facility as per ASTM and ISO standards. His expertise in polymer and materials field is a great asset to MatterX Compliance.
